Schroder Brasil Long & Short

Aiming at diversifying its product portfolio, Schroders launched on 29 June, 2007 its first Multi Asset long short fund in Brazil.

The fund is aimed at generating absolute return above its benchmark (CDI) around 5% p.a. over a twelve-month-spam, operating in the shares and derivatives market. Schroder Brasil Long Short fund value added source is the exploitation of the relative performance among shares from different sectors using the fundamental and technical analysis, but not adopting Equities directional strategies. The fund profits when the performance of the share positions acquired exceeds that of shares sold, not matter if the market itself shows uptrend or downtrend.
