Schroder Principal Protected 1 (Banco do Brasil)
Launched in 2006, Schroder Principal Protected was an exclusive product for Banco do Brasil private clients and was intended to qualified investors** who want to increase their exposure in the Equities market, which may allow for above average returns (subject to Ibovespa performance), but assuring protection of the principal invested (minus costs). This was a closed fund for fund raising and withdraws which main strategy is:
- Preservation of capital invested (minus costs) in case the Ibovespa return accrued in the period is negative;
- Possibility to offer above average return (subject to Ibovespa performance)
