About Schroders
Schroders is an asset management company – which manages third parties' resources, operating both globally and independently, with offices in several countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia, besides equities of over US$ 222.2 billion (data refers to September 2009).
The asset management activities are centered in Schroder Investment Management Limited (SIM), a subsidiary of the Schroders plc financial group, founded over two centuries ago in England. The group control belongs to the Schroder family.
An acknowledged leader in corporate investors’ resource management (pension funds, insurance companies, charities) and high income individual clients, in Brazil Schroders manages (in December 09) over R$ 4 billion of over 125 clients, among institutions and distributors.
Schroders' investment funds launched in the country are among the available products in the Brazilian financial market that collect the highest number of awards in best management and profitability.
